FAQ's
-
How long will it take to see results? If you are a beginner you may start to notice results in as little as two to three weeks but it will vary from person to person depending on the intensity you are working at, the frequency, your nutrition and your fitness levels before you started.
-
What happens during a personal training session?A personal training session will normally last for one hour and during this hour you will start with a 5-10 minute warm up followed by the main programme which will be tailored specifically to your goals. In the main programme I will teach you the proper technique whilst using advanced training systems to push you to your limits and at the same time motivating and encouraging you. At the end of the session you will have a 5-10 minute cool down which gives you a chance to ask any questions about anything your unsure about. We will also discuss what you can do before our next session together.
-
Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a meal plan?I will not be writing meal plans but I will be able to give you nutritional guidance to help you succeed at your goals.
-
How often should I train?Up to 3 times a week should be sufficient for you to start feeling and seeing results. However, the more work you put in the more you will get out of it. Depending on how motivated you are, if you need to workout with your trainer every time, what your schedule is like and how often you can afford to train.
-
Why should I use a personal trainer? Some people are happy to follow their own programme in their own time and place, but for those who lack the time, motivation, or the energy to train effectively on their own, a Personal Trainer can be of great help. A personal trainer can support you, encourage you and help you practice exercise with correct techniques to avoid any injuries.
-
Will my Trainer put me on a diet or stop me smoking/drinking?Most Personal Trainers are fully aware that in order to change an unhealthy lifestyle you have to work on it yourself. You will find that many Personal Trainers can give you nutritional and lifestyle advice however, whether you take it is up to you. We are only with you a few hours a week, but the fitter you become, the better you will end up treating your body.
-
Will I still be able to train if I have injuries or limitations?Personal training can still work if you have injuries or limitations as I will be able to adapt all exercises and choose exercises that you are capable of completing. Your training plan will be suited to YOUR needs and goals.
